First Aid

Provide First Aid

Nationally Accredited Unit Code: HLTAID003

Provide First Aid was formally known as Senior First Aid and is considered to be the minimum for workplace first aid compliance. Sejumi Institute of Further Education offers the course via face-to-face delivery over two days in Cairns.
The Provide First Aid certificate is valid for three years. The CPR component of the course is valid for 12 months. This will need to be updated annually in order for you to keep your certification current. To keep you up to date, we will enter your details on our database and contact you to remind you to renew this annually.

Provide responsible service of alcohol (RSA)

Nationally Accredited Unit Code: SITHFAB002

If you are looking for employment in a restaurant, bar, café or hotel, this is an essential course for you. Our face-to-face class will provide a thorough explanation of the requirements of a person serving or working where alcohol is served. Upon successful completion of this program you will be given a Statement of Attainment as proof of completion. Please note that this is a mandatory qualification for working in a position where you are serving alcohol.

Construction white card

Prepare to work safely in the construction industry

Nationally Accredited Unit Code: CPCCWHS1001

CPCCWHS1001 is the current equivalent to the superseded CPCCOHS1001A unit of competency
This course is offered via face-to-face delivery in Cairns, with the online version commencing in February 2018. A White Card is required when working on a construction site, and also for those who work in the technical side of theatre and events production.
