Diploma of Travel & Tourism Management
Cairns, Tropical North Queensland, is the ideal place to study travel and tourism. With spectacular natural attractions, including the Great Barrier Reef, rainforests, lava tubes, tropical foods, coffee plantations, Indigenous culture and so much more, it is the place to be.
Sejumi Institute is located in Cairns, with access to these resources and our students are able to immerse themselves in the various topics, as we explore the region, and learn about this dynamic industry.
Our next intake is July 2018 and we welcome students to contact us to learn more about this program.
For students who are unable to participate in our Cairns based face-to-face classes, we offer an online option. This provides you with the opportunity to study at a time and place that suits you. All students will be involved in discussion forums, activities and projects, where they have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge. The program focuses on key skills and knowledge required of an tourism manager, including: communication, leadership, networking and project planning.
This face-to-face format is available in Cairns only, in our campus at 330 Sheridan Street, North Cairns. Class sizes are limited to allow for interaction and on-going support. All classes must be attended, due to the requirement to work with others in various projects.
Tourism managers work in a diverse range of industries including tourism and travel, tourism operators, cruise companies, visitor information centres and so much more.
